Anacostia Revealed

The Anacostia is more than just a river in the nation’s capital. It’s also home to thousands of people. The waters are beautiful, but they are troubled by centuries of abuse, neglect and man-made pollution.

Though some cleanup efforts by the city of Washington, D.C. have been implemented, a series of passionate local residents and River Keepers, each experts in their field, have turned attention to their watershed to shed light on its problems to the public. Their aim is a swimmable and fishable Anacostia River for generations to come… Can it happen?
