In this (short) video essay I explore the Relics in Stellaris. I being with the feelings manifested on discovery of your first relic, then swiftly move on to the realisation that you can steal relics as well as excavating them! Next I examine the Fallen Empire viewpoint on these ancient devices. The expectations a player has when using a Relic are high. What could these ancient technological monstrosities unleash? Finally I showcase the asctual impact of Relics on Stellaris.
