EDIT: Recent updates buffed armor of a few cavalry units, like Vlandian Banner Knight (10 leg armor) and a huge armor buff to Aserai Vanguard buff. These changes will taken in account for my new Cavalry Tier List video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?vaIKzhsVWAkM
All tests are from version 1.6.5 beta – where cavalry AI was somewhat fixed, more so for couch lancing cavalry. If you have any questions post below and I’ll respond!
I tested Khuzait Khan’s Guard with the same test as shown in 5:30. Their K/D ratio was 4.13, thus still being the best cavalry when put in melee mode.
Note – I missed one cavalry unit (Sturgian Horse Raider), based of the equipment and skills, I predict they fare better than both battanian cavalry, but under the Khuzait Heavy Lancer and Vlandian Vanguard.
