In this part we follow the Defiant Root Mayor’s advice and look for hints in town for the locations of the keys to the Ancient Castle. One of them takes us to some nearby ruins, while the other takes us to the Bandit Hideout…
Afterwards we have a deadly encounter in the desert.

– Crystal Berry (19/50), in the burrow spot in the hideout’s cafeteria.
– Lore Book (06/26), next to the chest in the hideout’s storage room.

– Meditaton Medal. From Defiant Root’s western exit, head east twice to get it.
– Crystal Berry (20/50), in the burrow spot on the ruins area of the desert, where you find Hawk.

– #32, upon defeating the boss of the bandits.
