Bug Fables Hard Mode #1 – Spider Boss

The first boss of Bug Fables, the Spider, defeated with the Hard Mode Medal and as a bonus, without using any items! It’s a tricky fight, and one of my favourite first bosses in any video game. It’s not often that beating the first boss feels like such an accomplishment.

Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is an Adventure RPG following three heroes, Vi, Kabbu, and Leif, as they embark on an epic quest in Bugaria in search of The Everlasting Sapling, a treasure that can grant immortality!
The game combines colorful platforming with the heroes’ unique abilities as they explore a wide variety of areas in the kingdom. The turn-based battles make use of Action Commands that can power up your attacks!

Basically it’s Paper Mario but an indie game, and I’d say better than the Paper Mario games, which is saying something.
