Bug Fables How to beat Mother Chomper in HARD MODE

The basic idea behind the strat is that all of the chompers only have single target attacks. If you taunt as Kabbu, every attack will go to him but if you Shield him with Lief, he’ll take 0 damage from everything for only 5 TP a turn. What you need to do then is load up as much as you can onto Vi so she can do all of the damage.

What I did was bring 5 Abomihoney (I only used 3 of them) and a Danger Shroom. I have Vi Power Exchange but the defense doesn’t matter because everything hits Kabbu. Poison Attacker, Reverse Toxin and Eternal Venom all work together so that after I eat the Danger Shroom, Vi will never recover from the Poison, it will heal her and she will gain 1 more Attack. Kabbu has Favourite One so that every time he gets attacked, Lief and Vi get their charge increased by one and Deep Taunt so all the enemies have their Defense lowered (and once again, their increased Attack doesn’t matter at all). Finally I had Hard Charge on but it ultimately didn’t make that much of a difference. You want to make sure Vi is in front but make sure she attacks after Kabbu has Taunted and Lief has Shielded Kabbu. Do pretty much whatever attack but Tornado Toss can do up to around 20 damage. Once your TP starts getting low, use Vi’s turn to use an Abomihoney while keeping everything else the same and since you get healed from the Poison, being on 1 HP doesn’t matter. Hopefully this heals some people beat this fight. I struggled a lot with it before coming up with this strategy.
