Since i will stop (mostly) to cover Otome in full on my channel, i will instead make Route Reviews of what i played. In Rout Review i will review each route’s best ending. I will talk about my impressions at the start of the route in a non spoilery way, then go into dynamics between the Main Character and the LoveInterest as well as the sturcture of this route so you can get an idea of whats to come and if you are interested in him.
After this i’ll start to go into usually mild spoilers, but i’llk warn you before i do.
At the end i rate the LI.
ABOUT THIS GAME:
BUSTAFELLOWS is a Visual Novel of the Otome Genre. It has a story that splits of in /”Routes/” tied to one Character that you are trying to get a romantic relationship with. They usually have multiple Endings depending on if you succeed or not.
Every Route in this Game is also split into a Side A that you play first, before unlocking Side B after wards.
BUSTAFELLOWS tells the Story of /”Teuta/” who is an upcoming Journalist with a tragic backstory that is a few years removed. She also has the astonishing gift to travel back in time, which she uses sometimes to prevent great tragedies – the catch, you ask?
Oh well, she doenst travel to her own body in the past but instead randomly lands in someone elses. Talk about lucky but unfortunate at the same time!
While she’s just going about her daily life, trying to catch an interview with a big fish aka the crooked Lawyer Limbo, she witnesses his murder and promptly jumps back in time to save him – this marks the start of her entanglement with his wierd, capable, sometimes wicked but always wholesome gang.
Let the adventures beginn!
In this route Teuta fell in love with Limbo, the poster boy of the game and good hearted but a bit closed off laywer who is not affraid to do a lil bit of bad to get good in the end. Limbo is a very layered man that only gradually warms up to Teuta, though hes friendly towards her pretty much from the start.
This route is perfect for people who like slow burns, lots of romance scenes, independence & positive growth in characters!
Oh and DRAMA. Dont forget THE DRAMAAAA
