Chrono Trigger: Flames of Eternity (SNES)

This game is fan made sequel from Chrono Trigger. The difficulty is hard, the enemies & bosses hit 2 times harder than original CT. If you lost & don’t know where to go, i would recommend to search for walkthrough.

This is simple guide for level up in early chapter 5:
– Chapter 5 start when you get Magus join your party after getting Glenn & back to Chronopolis (future)
– Build team Magus, Marle & Luca and get out from Chronopolis to world map
– Go to station, down with ladder, keep moving to Western Continent
– Make sure you have enough Revive item. 10 is okay. If not, buy first– Go to southern continent by teleport which in world map is a cave. After teleport go to building on the west, the 3rd door is a shop which sell revive
– Go back to western continent & enter colloseum, fight with your team in hard mode
– You’ll fight Nagini, this monster slow but can 1 hit kill you (2 hits if your level already 22)
– Spam fire spells & ice/cure for Marle, if one party KO, use revive, have Lucca equip Scope so you can see enemy’s HP
– Keep doing this until you win, reward 1800 EXP per battle, 7 tech, 700 money, 8 colloseum points
– Don’t go round 2 yet or you’ll die. Quit battle. Heal in the kitchen on left side
– You can sell bad free equipments from bad equipment handicap for profit
– Go back to shop buy revive if you want, save and repeat the battle, later if your level high enough you don’t need revive anymore
– You can keep doing this until you can buy all good equipments in colloseum shop & exchange points for Rainbow sword for Crono (250 point), or GreenDream acc for auto revive in battle once (160 point)
– If your level 30 you can try round 2, spam with Fire magic while reviving. Reward: 1200EXP, 8 tech, 1000 money, 1 full ether You can farm & sell full ether for 2000
– At level 40 you can try round 3 if you want, you need fire area spells for this one, 2600EXP & 50 AP as reward
– I would not recommend round 4 unless your party very strong.

This is not game breaking, because the game still hard. Well it can be game breaking if you keep leveling until max anyway. But who knows, the Final Boss can be hard even you are in max level.
