Ah… What good is a day without Chrono Trigger lofi? There are many excellent video game remixers out there in the world, but Chrono Trigger seems to just bring out a special spirit in so many song creators. It’s really just quite magical!!

It’s certainly been a little while since part 6! I have a lot of stuff going on, but I’ll try to keep this series going for a good few years! 10 hours of Chrono Trigger lofi… Will soon be approaching…

0:00 – Morning Sunlight (beatzguy)
I recommend beatzguy’s catalogue of Chrono Trigger lofi remixes extremely highly. This collection features new & remastered tracks of his from his Time’s Eclipse album. Please check it out when you have a chance! Tracks like this are incredible.
2:06 – Memories of Green (beatzguy)
Did you guys know that I burn CDs with these songs? I make CDs of lofi music, game music, other soundtracks and genres I enjoy, and even in a few playlists mix in my own soundtracks of stuff like The Liminal & Plymouth Pages with songs I enjoy from CT and DKC. I bring it up because I have this one on my Spring lofi CD, and I like it a lot.
4:21 – Peaceful Days (Hapspee)
It gives me an odd mix of melancholy and peace, a rather interesting take on the track.
8:29 – Remains of the Factory (beatzguy)
This is such an underrated track and it’s really nice to see it get such a masterful cover. You just feel the beat and gotta vibe to this one.
12:36 – People Without Hope (beatzguy)
The track that actually first got me hooked on Chrono Trigger so long ago… Ah, this cover is really quite the jam!
15:26 – Robo’s Theme (Hapspee)
I can’t really describe it but this song has a very nostalgic energy. Yes of course that is the goal with lofi but this in particular stands out – reminds me of my times listening to lofi on walks, even though I’ve never listened to this track on a walk before!
21:18 – Corridors of Time (beatzguy)
One of beatzguy’s remasters of his previous material, I love this one no matter what shape it comes in. It’s just such a great track and encapsulates a really awesome summer vibe for me.
25:33 – Schala’s Theme (beatzguy)
Simply beautiful work.
30:06 – Morning Sunlight (Hapspee)
Hapspee seems to enjoy Peaceful Days a lot, considering they also have incorporated that track into this one! Ah well, the more the merrier.
33:27 – Secret of the Forest (beatzguy)
Another remix of one of beatzguy’s earliest covers – I love listening to Secret of Forest covers in the rain, so I’ll have to be sure to add this one into my upcoming /”12 Hours in Guardia Forest/” video!
38:13 – Jurassic Rhythm (beatzguy)
Another underrated classic given a great touch by beatzguy. Really nice to see a lot of these underrated tracks get some lofi love – Black Omen would be a great one I feel!
40:18 – Wind Scene (Hapspee)
Wind Scene always gets such amazing cover versions. I’d love to make a video just for Wind Scene covers… I wonder what I should do that like?
43:49 – At the Bottom of the Night (beatzguy)
This is another one which just gives me an instant nostalgic feeling. Man, this game’s music alone really can bring the emotions for sure.
46:27 – The Day the World Revived (beatzguy)
A great motivating track for whatever it is you’re working on! This is a fun one to listen to while driving.
49:16 – Corridors of Time (Hapspee)
This song (on top of the whole OST of course) just seems to bring out some really significant special quality in remixers, like this song always just is so deserving of a special touch. It really is quite nice!!
53:45 – Far Off Promise (beatzguy)
All good things must come to an end… But the great thing about a game like this is that an ending can just be the beginning of a lifelong love for a game, or song, or really anything at all!
55:40 – To Far Away Times (beatzguy)
It’s really nice to hear such an incredible track get such an incredible cover. I simply cannot overstate how excellent the catalogue of these artists all are and beatzguy really does deserve some support for all this work.
