Connect & Original Opening Movie Comparison Dokapon Kingdom: Connect

The new Dokapon Kingdom: Connect has a lot of unique differences from that of its predecessors. Connect’s intro is built to most closely resemble the Japanese PlayStation 2 version, so any non-text changes made in the English release are not present in the new release. For this comparison video, the opening for the English Wii release of Dokapon Kingdom is used.

There are a lot of minute changes made in this version of the opening, too many to explain in this description alone. Most of these changes have to do with timing and framing of scenes. Textures have been updated and changed all throughout the opening to better reflect the changes made in the game. This includes any censorship changes made to characters.

Strangely, the maps from 0:17 onward have their spaces incorrectly textured with building spaces being placed all around the map in places that don’t make any sense.
