Here’s an arrangement of Corridors of Time from Chrono Trigger using lasers, stakes and other sounds in Tears of the Kingdom.

About a month ago, fellow musician Maxo posted a clip to twitter showcasing an in-game feature where hitting stakes with beam emitters can create a range of pitches. Attaching stakes to one another allows for a wider range of pitches, as demonstrated in a clip I posted containing a short loop of the first ten notes of Megalovania as a proof of concept. Though there’s a pretty restrictive limit on how many stakes can be used at a time, I felt some weird inspiration to make a fully layered arrangement in this fun new DAW. It turned out to be extremely finicky and time consuming, and though I enjoyed putting this together, I’m probably not going to continue making /”staketunes/” lol
