Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion Cursed Ring run – Mission 4-2-6.

I’m randomly submitted videos on ways I’m tackling the game including the missions and this one I initially put off because I thought the hp values would be stupidly high like in the OG. However, I should treat everything as unknown as it seems instead of 260k hp, they’re closer to 55k maybe?

I lost raise on the 5th unit which is worst as it uses death. I didn’t know if it was worth carrying on but sure enough I persisted. Gravity beats graviga because it costs less mp BUT early on it still hits for the same amount. This is a typical mission where if you get hit, you die 99% of the time and those that don’t will leave you fighting for your life or cripple you in another way like stealing sp, ap and mp.

The curaga spam is nasty, 7-8k hp so best I could do is use a command ability like jump, blizzaga strike or assault twister. They all work but jump kind of felt like it took too long, blizzaga strike we only get 2 hits so it’s a question of find what’s best for you. It also looks like hitting gravity near the end of the curaga cast stuns him more than if you try and get 2 in though that would definitely work.

We get the Wutai store so the hell materia and a few other things which might be okay, status magic is nice though I’ve already just acquired blizzaga and thundaga (no firaga though).

I’m still some mission away from getting brutal which would help me break the cap and I’ve no clue yet how far I am away from any punch. Without mastered materia, it could be I’ll be stuck at some lower punch for quite a while if when I do find it.
