My tried and trusted set up:
– Wall (damage halving)
– Gil Toss (main damage dealer)
– Assault twister (good to have just in case she dodges too much)
– Mug (to steal 99 Phoenix downs)
– Aerial Drain (to close the distance as well as avoid attacks, helps top up decent amount of HP too)
– SP Master (this is an awesome cheese if you have lotsa SP as it absorbs all damage received and increases your damage output)

Genji Glove (break damage cap)
Genji Helm (Infinite MP & AP)
Ziedrich (for 100 to all stats)
Adaman Bangle (break HP cap)

Yooo my dudes, it’s time for us to beat Minerva for the first time. Here I go in with my tried and trusted set up which worked wonders during the PSP days and 14 years later it’s still gonna down her easily. This was done during the start of chapter 4, so you’re gonna have to farm, farm, farm that SP and Dark Matter to max out your stats if you wanna deal with her easily. Ain’t got no time for Genji Shield or Armor, which of course if you do get it is gonna make this fight much easier. But hey, beating her early is the name of the game, innit?
