Dark Souls 3’s final boss, Soul of Cinder, is one of my favorite fights in the whole series. He is such a complex boss that suffers from people getting to him very much over leveled. Typically people like to go through the DLC segments of the game before taking down the final boss Cinder. This means that a lot of first time players will never get to see the full arsenal that this boss has. In his first phase he has 4 stances that each bring a variety of attacks. Phase 2 he gains a familiar moveset you might recognize from dark souls final boss, Gwyn. The move I am highlighting in this short is his parry mechanic.
One major reason that most players will never see this move is that this requires you to complete a laundry list of situations. The Cinder needs to be in Pyro stance, you need to stagger him, and then you need to hit him as he is standing. Most players fight defensively on their first plays so just getting a stagger alone is typically not seen. A lot of people just run from pyro phase as well.
