There are a total of 21 Weapon Upgrades to find in the Dead Space Remake. For the /”Built to Order/” trophy / achievement. 15 of the Weapon Upgrades you will find on the ship, and the other 7 you will buy from the shop.
None of the Weapon Upgrades are missable, you can go back and get them at anytime before the point of no return at the end of Chapter 11.
A fair majority of the Weapon Upgrades require you to complete the /”You are no Authorized/” side quest, which will give you Master Security Clearance to open up certain chests and doors.
