Dead Space Remake – Chapter 8 – Leviathan Remnant boss battle
This Dead Space Remake game guide video shows how to defeat the Leviathan Remnant boss in chapter 8 – Search and Rescue. This is the second Leviathan boss fight and this time the creature is outside the ship and you must use the airlocks to get there.
There are 3 ADS Cannons in the area and they are very helpful in defeating the boss. Approach the central ADS Cannon and take control – you can aim and order the cannon to perform strikes (pressing the interaction button). Aim for the orange parts – you need to destroy the outer shell first and then the actual part of Leviathan’s body. Make sure to dodge regularly to avoid getting hit by the boss’s limbs.
Once you’ve destroyed the first part of Leviathan’s body head either right or left. There are more cannons there (the left one needs to be uncovered by destroying growth) and you’ll also find oxygen stations (destroy the growth on the right one). Watch out for Leviathan’s sweep attacks (fly over them) and for the projectiles.
It’s very likely that all cannons are going to be destroyed before the end of the battle. Start using kinesis to grab the orange projectiles and to throw them back at the boss. You can also use your weapons on the orange weak spots.
