Defeating Giovanni and Catching Shadow Latios from July 2022 Battle Weekend Research Event

Battle weekend special field research task features shadow latios as reward for defeating Giovanni.

Battle weekend rewards include 2x pass from grunts, more stardust for defeating grunts, more balloons and grunts appear in the wild. The event lasts from July 9 to July 10 of 2022.

New shadow pokemons are available from grunts and team rocket leaders Arlo, Sierra and Cliff. Shadow pokemons can forget the move frustration by using charged tm.
