There was originally supposed to be another type of zombie introduced that would compliment the Homer zombie. When Tallahassee and Columbus go to the mall at the beginning of the movie, they run into a zombie that is attacking her own reflection. They had originally written this to be a Jessica variant that would refer to Jessica Simpson. The writers decided to write this out.
