If during a match the referee takes a bump – whether accidental or otherwise – and goes down, they’ll stay groggy and dazed for a short while afterwards. This results in them slow counting any pin attempt that’s made and could cost you an important win!
So, while it’s tempting to take the referee down in a match for fun, just make sure you don’t do it before you try to make an important pinfall because it might just backfire on you!
