Digimon World: Next Order – Know Your Egg A Baby & Rookie Guide!
This guide aims to show you which Egg gives which Baby and Rookie Digimon in Digimon World: Next Order.

Hey Guys, please know that when I say the video is going to be short, I really am trying my best to keep it short. Apparently, I am incapable of making any content under 10 minutes, and for that I am sorry!

Today, we are going to be looking at the Digi Eggs that are available to you every time one of your in game partners pass away. More specifically, this video is going to highlight:

1) Which Digi Eggs become which Rookies
2) Also verbally go over a handful of Champion Digimon that these Rookies can eventually become.

The main motive for making this video is that I wanted to try and teach myself to remember which eggs can become which rookies. In game, you can press Triangle and the game will show you which baby or in training digi’s you will get from each egg. But sometimes, that isn’t enough information. One feature of the original Digimon World that this game does not replicate, is that in the first game, you were able to look at your Digivolution chart as a whole, and trace back that if you wanted a certain ultimate, you would need to start with a certain egg. Next Order doesn’t really let you do that, and although you are able to look backwards on how you got to a certain point, the game pretty much restricts your vision and prevents you from clearly seeing all your future Digivolution Options.

Granted that, DW1 only had four eggs to choose from, and no Mega Digimon. Thus, the in this game the chart was understandably a lot smaller and more condensed- but if anything, this just makes it more unusual that the developers don’t allow you to freely flick ahead and explore what Mega’s your baby Digimon can one day become. Maybe they wanted you to experience the mystery of not knowing what your going to get, which admittedly is a large part of the fun. But, instead, you kinda have to rely on your memory and for me, who has the brain of an infantile wildebeest, I always end up getting my egg choice wrong. This is pretty much my first reason.

My second line of thinking was that, in teaching myself, maybe I could help teach some of you guys as well. Obviously, it is probably faster to look up a Digivolution chart from Google, but on the off chance that some of you might enjoy this kind of content, I thought I’d go a head and make a video on it.

If any of you are looking for a useful Digivolution chart for Next Order, I would recommend this one generated in GoogleDocs, by the community (this may not open on mobile):

Anyway guys, as always, your support on my Next Order content continues to blow me away. Thank you so much for your time, feel free to drop a comment and tell me what you thought of the video. Have a great day!
