To avoid to crash your savegame, please do a Backup first!
How to Backup: where is the game directory with the savegame?
Just copy /”%userprofile%//AppData//LocalLow//James Bendon//Dinkum/”
to your commandline or run in windows. This will open the path directly.
Backup your files! Copy the whole content of the /”Dinkum/” directory to a safe place.
You could name it /”Backup_Dinkum_Date/”.
How to use the /”placeItem/” Dev Command:
1. Enable Dev Commands by writing devCommandsON in the Chat or disable it with devCommandsOFF and press Enter/Return
2. The Command for placing an Item by its Id just type /”placeItem ID/” in the Chat and Press Enter/Return. Example: /”placeItem 140/” will spawn a fully grown short Palm where your white Cursor shows up
And of course, if you enable the devCommands you can open the DevMenu with /”*/”
– be carefully with it!
