Today is Braxien Community Day. Same with most starters community day, Shiny Fennekin is released in this event.

Braixen is a pure Fire-type Pokemon, which is weak against Rock/Ground/Water type attack. As the special community day T4 raid boss it has 145 defense and 9000 HP.

Since Braixen weak to both Ground/Water type, it means it is weak both of the two highest CP Pokemon in this game – Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon. With 180s and 9000 HP, it is more or less tie with a Tier 5 boss with 145 defense in terms of defensive capability.

While it is not particularly defensive, it is still strong enough to disallow any possibility to be Solo Raided without weatherboost. However, with Primals monstrous TDO, they find themselves able to Solo Raid Braxien rather comfortably in Rain weather for Primal Kyogre and Sun weather for Primal Groudon.

Unfortunately, Primal Reverted Pokemon are mandatory for this Solo Raid, since no other Pokemon outrace the timer even with weather boost damage bonus. In fact, they can’t even be able to outperform Primal Kyogre/Primal Groudon recycling in general.

This means, for Solo Raid, there are multiple execution choice you could choose from. You can either just run Primals and heal them once, or using expensive Shadows as backfills such as Shadow Mamoswine/Shadow Swampert. At last, you might also try to defeat Braixen as a 1v1 Solo Raid, if Braixen has a more forgivable moveset.

In this raid, to make it simple, Braixen is defeated with Primal Kyogre only with 1 healing. Primal Kyogre can reach over 5k TDO against Braixen even without dodging, which allows it to defeat Braixen all by itself thanks for its high DPS and low rejoin count.

Pokémon used:
CP 6752 Primal Kyogre – Lv501 15/15/15 Waterfall/Origin Pulse
