Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek (Part 2): The Creepy Chapel

Part 2 of 8, of a walkthrough for /”Engimatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek/”. The detective gets a token, which gives her access to the town’s chapel. Inside, she gets a flashlight, so she can explore the basement of the boarding house, where she finds something horrific. She also finds a crowbar, which lets her enter the bathroom. She fixes the pipes in the bathroom, so she can get a cup of water to wake up the man by the church. He reveals that the bag near the bathroom contains important case files.

The detective gets a pool cue to retrieve the bag, but the case files blow all over town. The files belong to Hamilton, who investigated a missing persons case here, thirty years ago. The detective agrees with Hamilton’s conclusion that the preacher is the top suspect, after she finds horrific evidence inside the chapel. She solves a fairly complex puzzle, to open the gate to the church area.
