Quick guide to teach players everything you need to know about barricades in Project Zomboid. There are a few different conventional barricades in the game but it can be hard to know what those barricades are, what theyre made out of, and what tools you may need to construct them.

Conventional barricades are objects intended to be used as barricades and include Wooden Barricades, Metal Sheet Barricades, and Metal Bar Barricades. These can be applied to windows and doors with tools like the hammer and nails as well as the propane torch and welding mask.

Unconventional barricades are objects not intended to be used as barricades and can consist of random furniture or vehicles placed in front of windows or doors to slow or stop zombies entirely.

Project Zomboid is the most complex and in depth zombie survival game on the market today and it can be hard to know about all the little details hidden within the game.

I think this guide is helpful for both new players and experienced ones as we go in depth about how damage resistant each barricade is and talk about some unconventional barricades like furniture and vehicles.

Knowing the ins and outs of a game this complex can take a long time and I’m happy to share the knowledge that hundreds of hours in game grants me. I hope these guides are helpful to you and I will keep on updating and improving them as time goes on. We have a lot more planned and I hope to really pick up the pace on releasing these to you all.
