Today I received an in-game mail from Evony, with the big game changing news that we now can ASCEND PURPLE GENERALS WITHOUT Blood of Ares !!
* if this is a good or bad feature is hard to say, but I don’t think it’s negative to be honest… but we’ll see future on, maybe Evony makes those generals impossible to get in Tavern and make us pay for purple generals (!). o_0
Anyway, I got both Sanada Yukimura and Spartacus during a test run (not in video) in Tavern. (future on, I might make a video of those general’s ascension buffs).
In this video, I popped Sanada Yukimura and tested the ascension feature which not uses any Blood of Ares at all – to be honest I kept looking for the numbers which would tell me how many Blood of Ares still needed… maybe a muscle memory in my eyes haha. :o)
** ALSO there was/is a ongoing bug or glitch which says: /”SALIC LAW (skill book) Reduces enemy ground troops’ defense and HP by 20% and increase your in-city range troops and siege machines’ attack by 5% when General is the Bunker Officer/”.
The same specific shows if I put Sanada at the wall as assistant, or into a march preset. Let me know if you experience this Easter Egg too – in 1105 it seems that not all has this, reminding me of the Kaguya Easter Egg awhile ago. See https://youtu.be/SiaRtf41oZo for further info.
I will post future videos about the ascension feature for purple generals and this Easter Egg with Sanada. There’s no known bug/s with Spartacus or Hua Mulan that I’ve seen so far. Please comment if you’ve seen any other Easter Eggs.
