We need to build an efficient blueprint for our new accumulators, but what is the perfect design? Let’s do some math and figure it out!

Greetings. 🙂 In this playthrough I will be using Angels mods and Bobs mods, as well as lots of others. I’m going to try to make this video series informative and educational. I’m experienced with these mods and I know how complicated they are, so I hope I can help you understand them better.

If you thought the stock game was complicated, Factorio with these mods is 10x crazier. They dramatically expand the production chains, and offer an almost incomprehensible amount of research options. One of the biggest mods is Angels. Primarily dealing with resource refining, they dramatically expand the amount of steps needed to process resources, as well as introducing many byproducts which must be thoughtfully managed. The other big mod is Bobs. These expand upon the manufacturing side of your factory, adding many new elements to process, higher tier machines, and complex recipes.

There’s lots of smaller mods in play as well. One notable mod is AAI Industries, which adds new parts for the early game, and makes the burner stage more meaningful by requiring research for electric machines. Science Cost Tweaker makes the recipes for science more complex and takes advantage of the special resources from the other mods, as well as increase their total resource cost. Finally I want to mention Space Extension, which expands the end game, requiring many rocket launches to construct a new spaceship in orbit, so that the hero can finally escape the Biter’s planet. Megabase, here we come. 😀

I’ve got lots of smaller mods installed. Let me know if you’re wondering about a specific mod. If I’m not using it, maybe I can include it in a future episode. 😀

In this game you’re stranded on an alien world populated by dangerous /”Biters./” In order to survive you need to mine resources, research technology, and build a rocket to escape the planet. This task is too monumental for your bare hands. You’ll be applying your logic and creativity to build a unique factory composed of many machines that will labor away on your behalf. But you are not alone. The Biters are a constant threat requiring you to build up your defenses. The best part of the game is how you unlock many forms of automation, which saves you time to work on more important tasks. Each new technology fundamentally changes how you build the factory, which requires constant self improvement on your part. There is a large learning curve, but that’s the fun of it! _

The game is well-supported by it’s developers, and there is a thriving modding community with an endless amount of mods to extend your enjoyment of the base game.

Take the opportunity to connect and share this video with your friends and family if you find it useful.
