That wiki is your best friend. It might be best to refer to the wiki before asking me some questions. Feel free to ask though, but know that my answers will most likely be based on the wiki.

Full disclosure, I was going to play Blazing Emerald but when I checked out the Discord, I saw recent posts about a 1.6.1 coming. I now would rather wait until that comes out. This hack was going to be played after a Blazing Emerald Monotype run. So, this was going to be played no matter what. This is my third playthrough. My first playthrough was when the hack just released in the middle of 2019. About a year later, I did a Fairy Monotype, this was before I recorded my playthroughs, so that needs to be done again in the future. Almost 2 years later, I do this. Shame on me, I raved about the hack back then. On the other hand, it’s not like I missed much because the hack hasn’t been updated since its 2019 release. It’s now a bit aged for me, still, I enjoyed myself.

As the title of the video suggests, this is a full-fledged Fakemon hack. 252 Fakemons to be exact, with 19 Mega Evolutions. Two additional types, Digital and Cosmic. Digital was randomly selected, which was awesome because you get to see how this unique type fares. For the most part, pretty well. I didn’t study the type chart much, but I find it odd that Normal resists Digital and that it’s weak to Water, a very abundant type. I digress.

Since this came out in 2019, the mechanics and features are pretty much in-line with that time period, predating CFRU. However, there are notable bugs. Mega Evolution’s bugged, you can’t do it in Double battles, and the AI’s handling of Mega Evolutions really bugged. You don’t see it here though, the simple workaround is to just save and reset before doing major battles. I did it often and didn’t encounter that bug. I did encounter bad eggs, but that might be because I used PKHeX to hack in two TMs that I lost, and to give myself some Rare Candies. Then towards the end of the run, I used a Rare Candy cheat for the 3rd E4 team, my patience was running out at that point. I got a bad egg in my party after beating Blue and resetting the game. I had to go back to an earlier point, remove the cheat, and everything was fine. You also see the HP go down after leveling up during the E4 battles, but not a big deal, doesn’t hinder or help anybody. These bugs are mostly known anyway.

Difficulty is pretty low. It’s not a hard hack, but I think I got the most losses in this run. 16, 14 from the E4, which should tell you where the difficulty mostly resides in. Brock beat me twice, I only had 1 Digital type at the time though.

Pekin, the creator of the hack, made this with Monotypes in mind. So, this hack is basically MADE for me. You can pretty much get at least 1 mon of each type before Brock, which is something not many hacks do. They don’t have to by the way, but it’s a whole lot cooler when they do.

This video shows off nearly all the Digital-types. The only ones I didn’t use were Datagen (the Ditto of the hack, doesn’t have Imposter), Infectic (Poison/Digital), and Hardroid. Yeah it’s featured in the 3rd E4 team, but I never used it. That 3rd E4 team has 4 Legendaries, effectively replacing the Kanto Birds and Mewtwo. Pyksi, Tekaksi, and Kolment are Fairy/Digital mons, /”Followers/” of Xeragon, Digital/Dragon with 680 BST, the Uber of this hack.

Referring back to the TMs, they are reusable, but you have to let the animation of them play. If you don’t, they disappear. I apparently made that mistake 2 times with TM01 Moonblast and TM46 Thief.

Some new areas are added to Kanto, Pewter’s double in size, extra area in Victory Road, bigger Diglett Tunnel, Molet Tunnel is the name technically.

Nitpicking time. The best Digital-type moves have shaky accuracy. Physical side, there’s Exploit, 110 BP, 70 Accuracy! Yikes. Data Storm is Special, 95 BP, 90 Accuracy. Their secondary effects don’t really justify the accuracy tradeoff. Exploit can lower foe’s Speed, Data Storm can confuse. Titanos has No Guard, so can spam Exploit, but then you have Pixel Cannon, the next best physical Digital move. A multi-hit one with a BP of 20. Kind of lame unless you always hit 5 times. No Digital-type has Skill Link or Technician.

I have more to say, pinned comment. The music, uhm, yeah, it’s random. Over the weekend, I randomly got into this, I guess, rare or first version of Kurt Angle’s TNA theme song. Done by Trademarc, I used to listen to this a bunch of times, 10 or so years ago. I heard the original song that was sampled in a live stream a few days ago. It reminded me of the Kurt Angle TNA theme, and naturally, I listen to it ad nauseam. I’m listening to it now as I’m typing this. It probably is off-putting for this video, but I can’t help it. I don’t talk to people much and definitely don’t mention random musical interests like this.

Enjoy the video.
