Fall planting is the best time to plant allium seeds. How and why?

Allium is the genus of herds and culinary delights! The Allium family includes Chives, Garlic Chives, all types of Onion (bulb, green, scallions, shallot & wild), Garlic (bulb & wild), Leek, and Ramp.

I like to plant a lots of seeds in a tray. The results are better for me. I can grow a lots of plants and it is easy to keep them moist.

After they are 2 inches tall, I transplant them in raise bed, container or around my fruit trees.

Any vegetables in the allium family is welcome in the kitchen.
