( INTRODUCTION ) Greetings, brave adventurers! Join me, Pro, as I present my comprehensive Dagannoth Slayer Guide! Prepare for an efficient and rewarding task, not particularly for GP, but you’ll gain loads of XP in no time!
(️ REQUIREMENTS ️) To embark on this quick and XP-filled journey, make sure to bring your trusty cannon and gear up with protective armor. Completion of the /”Horror from the Deep/” quest is a must to venture into the Lighthouse.
(️ WEAKNESSES & ATTACKS ️) The elusive Dagannoths are weak to all combat styles, so feel free to use your preferred skill. I’ll be demonstrating the power of melee in this guide. Dagannoths attack with both melee and range, but no worries, cheap food will keep you going strong!
(️ GEAR SETUP ️) My chosen gear includes Osmuntons Fang, Bonecrusher Necklace (or Bonecrusher) – for extra prayer points when slaying Dagannoths (but you can opt for a Fury instead), Barrows Gloves, Dragon Boots, an imbued Berserker Ring, Fighter Torso, Verac’s Plateskirt, Dragon Defender, Rada’s Blessing, Fire Cape, and the powerful Slayer Helm. If not on a task, you can switch to a Neitiznot Helm. Unleash the power of melee or consider a Whip for a change!
( INVENTORY ) Prepare your inventory wisely for this fast-paced task. Bring along a Super Combat or Combat Potion, a Cannon, Cannonballs, Nature Runes, a Special Attack weapon, a Lunar Staff (or a way to access a Fairy Ring), Bonecrusher, Wrench, and a Rune Pouch filled with Teles and High Alch Runes. If you’re not bringing a Bonecrusher Necklace, consider adding some extra food or Prayer Pots for additional protection.
( GETTING THERE – HOW TO KILL ) The swiftest way to reach the Dagannoth Lighthouse is by using the Fairy Ring code ALP. Alternatively, teleport to the Barbarian Outpost and make your way up to the Lighthouse.
Once inside the Lighthouse, proceed through the door and past the peculiar face-like food with the rune in it. Descend the ladder and place your cannon in the middle of the area. Let it do its work while you enjoy some AFK time, raking in the XP! Remember to check your cannon frequently and replenish your health when necessary. Protect yourself with either Protect from Melee or Protect from Range and you’ll have nothing to worry about. You can even watch a YouTube video about RuneScape while you’re at it!
