This uses the same method I use for /”OP Money Anna/” in another video. With a high enough Tiki bond you can still get a unit to solo skirmishes, once you’ve done /”some/” levelling, eg; in the arena which you can use after EVERY skirmish/training mission. Demonstrated here with Timerra in a base LV 7 class.

I was in Chapter 15 when I did this so expect a potentially harder time doing it on VERY under-developed base class units in LATE chapters. This is recommended as an early-mid game farm. Also note that the title specifies /”skirmishes/”. If you’re on Maddening you should already ascertain the limitations of this by that implication.

This solution is OK for raising the odd straggler but would be bond fragment-intensive trying to do it with ALL your units due to the emblem bonding it involves so I don’t suggest being TOO dependent on it. I however did do it because I’d amassed plenty enough bond fragments to still have plenty left after raising 12 units.

Success may vary per stage. Ideally use a lower-level one with adequate terrain cover. If MANY are targeting you, moving to a less targeted spot can help as can occupying a heal/avoid node or forcing enemies into a bottleneck. If in desperation, bring a more OP unit or two to assist (as little as required), that really helps! You could also try standing on an Avoid/HP regen tile.

IGNORE the advice about HP/Luck 10 (unless you’re raising Anna) unless you particularly want it! I’ve tested this on my entire active squad and don’t need it. Just implement the above as appropriate. I successfully trained an Advanced LV 1 unit in a LV 16 skirmish though that was pretty extreme so I needed TWO strong assistance units to draw some fire away. You get to the point where you can just raise 2-3 units like this together instead of relying on your OP ones.

DISCLAIMER: Recommended as a solution on NORMAL. Not tested on Hard but you may need clever planning of assistance units.
