Fire Emblem Engage; will Break be Broken?

I am excited to learn more about the break mechanic, but it does seem like it can give us a serious advantage over our foes and it may be a one sided mechanic. It wouldn’t be the first time this happened, like with Pair Up, but I am curious to see how people feel about it overall.
