Are you better off with a wheel, or should you stick to the controller or joystick? Join me as we delve into the early access version of the game. I’m hoping that this game will replace GT7 as my go-to /”sport/” sim racing experience. But before we get started, I’ve made some adjustments to the video and control settings, so let’s see how the game performs now!
One of the key factors that significantly enhances my enjoyment of this game is the settings. These settings are what transformed the game from being less than enjoyable to a whole lot of fun. Keep in mind that these settings are tailored for my Fanatec GT DD Pro (8Nm) with the CSL Elite McLaren GT3 v2 wheel.
As for my PC specs, it’s equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 7900XTX graphics card, and 64GB of RAM. However, I did encounter some stuttering issues. It appears that running the game on /”medium/” settings has improved its performance somewhat. Let’s hope that Microsoft addresses these performance issues in the upcoming update.
