Gemstone Orphanage March Subscription Box Opening & Review
We are unboxing and reviewing the March edition of the Gemstone Orphanage Subscription Box a little early this month. One of the reasons we are doing this is because…

…this box marks the First Anniversary of the Gemstone Orphanage Subscription Program, and we have a few things planned.

First of all, we have a few extra boxes and subscriptions available this month. You can purchase a box and set up your subscription at this link:

The featured stone this month is Polychrome Jasper, a relatively new discovery among gemstones. There are also lots of other amazing gemstones, crystals, beads, findings, and other great stuff to expand your jewelry-making inventory.

As part of our First Anniversary celebration kick-off, we will be doing a collaboration with Gina of GGC’s Treasures. On February 7th, at 12 noon, MST, we will each release a tutorial where we make jewelry using some of the materials from the current GGC Treasure bag and our Gemstone Orphanage box. Make sure you check out both videos.

Since we had to exchange boxes and bags, we also have each done a review of the other’s bead kit.

Each Gemstone Orphan is a one-of-kind, semi-precious stone that comes with its own adoption papers. Each gemstone is registered, numbered, and included in the Gemstone Orphanage registry. The adoption papers include photos of the stone, a description, with special traits, and a history of that gemstone.

To see jewelry made from the beads and findings in the subscription box, skip to the end of the video. This time we have a special guest jewelry maker who gets to show off her talent for making amazing jewelry: Colleen Sinkewicz. Collen helps us with our new Gemstone Orphanage Facebook Group linked here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/gemstoneorphanage/

Please let us know in the comments if you have questions, suggestions, or concerns.
