Glitch is an entity that appears when you play the game too slowly and fall behind your teammates in multiplayer. However, it can sometimes appear in singleplayer.

Occasionally, the game will need extra time to load the next few rooms, and this often happens around Door 50 due to the room’s size. To compensate for the time required, Glitch will appear and teleport the player to the next door. This occurrence can also happen if the next rooms don’t load properly, for example, two rooms loading on top of each other. The game will use Glitch to fix itself before the player opens the next door.
