Goodbye Volcano High is a cinematic narrative adventure game developed and published by KO_OP. The game is set in a world of anthropomorphic dinosaur characters and centers around the members of the band Worm Drama, including the non-binary lead vocalist Fang (they/them), guitarist Trish, and drummer Reed, as well as the school’s student council president Naomi and Fang’s brother Naser. The game follows the characters as they navigate through their final year as Volcano High seniors with graduation looming over the horizon. The game is about love, change, and the end of the world. Players guide Fang through their final year of high school, make choices through dialogue, and have conversations as they try to make things right before time is up. The themes at the core of Goodbye Volcano High are love, friendship, and youth facing what feels like an inevitable catastrophe.
