Greatsword LOSES Top DPS Spot! Weapon DPS Ranking Tier List For New World Fellowship & Fire Update!

Up until this patch, the Greatsword was the best PvE DPS weapon in the game. However, with the New World Fellowship and Fire update, the Greatsword received significant nerfs to its damage output, resulting in it losing the top spot. Likewise, the Hatchet saw a very significant damage decrease. Instead, other weapons, sometimes with unexpected builds are able to rise to the top. Some notable examples are the Spear, Sword & Shield and especially the Rapier. But even in the mage department, especially the Ice Gauntlet can absolutely hold its own. In this Weapon Tierlist we compare all weapons purely based on DPS.
