Guild Wars 2 – The Necromancer Guide: Gameplay, Skills, Elite Specializations, and Builds

The Necromancer in Guild Wars 2 is one of my favorite beginner-friendly and versatile professions (classes) in the game. The Necromancer is able to directly damage your enemies or apply conditions to weaken them over time. In addition, they are also able to control minions and have them deal and take damage for you, allowing you to stay at a safe distance.

In terms of gameplay, you can play the Necromancer up close using weapons like the Dagger or stay at a safe distance using a staff or scepter. The Elite Specializations expand on this gameplay, giving you more opportunities to play either up close or from a distance.

The Necromancer is versatile and excels in many game modes such as PvE, PvP, and World vs. World (WvW). Make sure to give the Necromancer a shot!
