Half Health Great League Chesnaught Solo Vs Team Rocket Leader Sierra #shorts
Using a half health great league Chesnaught to beat Sierra’s shadow Poliwag, Sharpedo & Houndoom.
Chesnaught hasn’t had its community day yet, but it’s current moveset is still very strong, with vine whip, super power & energy ball. Unfortunately super power debuffs both attack & defence with each use, so it is a lot less viable in Team Rocket challenges compared to the similar fighting type charge move close combat, where only defence is lowered. energy ball is also 10 energy more than frenzy plant whilst also dealing 10 less damage.
In this case however, we were still able to take on the Sharpedo & Houndoom with super power due to their very low defence stats. We even got an unnecessary defence debuff Vs Sharpedo, a Pokémon that certainly doesn’t need it’s defence lowered to get nuked by just about any charge move in the game.
This was certainly one of my easier challenges, but unfortunately it’s likely that a lot of great league challenges against Sierra will be fairly easy this time round, regardless of what the starting health is.
