Helldivers 2 Purifier gameplay, SOLO MAX DIFFICULTY Automaton ERADICATION MISSION. Helldivers 2 Purifier (PLAS-101) is a primary weapon. No support weapon used for Purifier testing purposes. A mainly ENTERTAINMENT VIDEO with INSTRUCTIONS in mind.

An extremely easy and smooth run, honestly too smooth. No Factory Striders spawned and everything else couldn’t get near me due to the sheer AoE stagger potential of the PLAS-101 Purifier. I even skipped the support weapon and backpack slots all together and it held it’s own just fine. Arguably with more Hulks and Tanks I could have been in trouble but the red Stratagems I brought handled those just fine. Considering this is the first time I ran the Purifier, I’m extremely impressed with it (I can imagine this thing being deadly in the hands of someone willing to put in practice with it). It does great damage, arguably with low DPS because of it’s low rate of fire. The compensation it gets is immense however, namely:
– phenomenal staggerpower;
– good magazine size;
– fast reloadspeed;
– great handling, and;
– excellent AoE damage potential.
You really should try this gun out. Let me know how you feel about it!

The loadout:
– FS-38 ERADICATOR: with 550 speed, -30% recoil when crouch or prone & 50% explosive damage resistance. The armor piece is my go-to, fitting my /”crouch and prone very often/” mentality (including crouch-sliding and diving). It’s a strong defensive tool, preventing me from worrying so much about random rockets and mortars. It also augments my offensive capabilities because I can increase my rate of fire whenever I’m crouched or prone, effectively increasing my DPS;
– PLAS-101 PURIFIER: immense powerhouse energy-based weapon. With 250 base (AoE) damage, 15 bullets per magazine and 20 recoil it’s fair to say one of the only (if not THE ONLY) downside to this gun is it’s rate of fire. Unmentioned in the stats is it’s crazy amount of staggerforce and it’s ability to do so in an area-of-effect (AoE). The cherry on top is it’s ability to penetrate medium armor. Honestly I feel a nerf coming, and perhaps rightfully so. Enjoy while it lasts;
– REDEEMER: powerful and versatile secondary, basically an uzi. One of the last patches increased it’s recoil, which you can easily compensate for with a little practice (by dragging your mouse downward slowly while firing). When in doubt about what secondary to bring, you can’t go wrong with this gun;
– IMPACT GRENADES: extremely potent grenades for both Automatons and Terminids. Exploding on impact grants them utility other nades simply don’t have. You can take out Walkers easily and they can clear the cargo a dropship leaves behind in seconds (depending on their armor rating). Arguably one of the best grenades in the game, lacking behind in utility only to the stun grenade in my opinion;
– HELLPOD SPACE OPTIMIZATION (AMMO) BOOSTER: normally not the best booster in my opinion, simply deploying you with all your ammunition, grenades and stims. For an Eradication mission I usually expect to die alot however, suddenly making this a very viable booster. I didn’t die this entire run so I essentially wasted a booster, but definitely a booster worth bringing when you expect your group to be learning alot (so die alot);
– EAGLE 500KG: with the ship module upgrades, having two of these every 150 seconds is phenomenal. They get dropped from the angle you threw them in and mostly do damage in vertical fashion. These bad boys will take care of your Hulks and Tanks problem with ease. Two of them take out a Factory Strider if well aimed also;
– EAGLE AIRSTRIKE: similar to the 500kg bomb, this stratagem handles your big-boi problems. It’s perpendicular call-in direction gives you the flexibility of optimizing your damage however. So choose your Eagle according to how they line-up;
– ORBITAL LASER: an absolute beast of a stratagem, useful in any and all missions. The laser will track all of your enemies and desintegrate them before your eyes. The biggest downside is that you can only use it three times per mission, which on this mission is not a problem considering it’s a short mission (15min)!
