Hogwarts Legacy has level 1, 2 and 3 doors which are unlocked using the Alohomora spell but the game doesn’t tell you how to actually lockpick and unlock doors or how to open the level 2 and level 3 locks so this guide should help if you’re having trouble, especially during the lockpicking quest you originally use it in for the first time.
If you want to open these locked doors, you’ll need to start the quest called The Caretakers Lunar Lament. During that quest you will unlock your first level 1 locked door. Afterwards you will now have Alohomora to access level 1 locks and be given the quest by the same caretaker, The Man Behind The Moons quest where you’ll need to find the Demiguise statue locations. When you find 9 Demiguise Moons, you can unlock level 2 locks, and upon finding 13 more statues, can unlock level 3 doors.
