What’s up everybody, today we’re going to be taking on the Electric gym in Levincia. First off, since this is an electric gym, you are going to want to have the right pokemon in your party to take it on. Electric type Pokemon only have one weakness and that is Ground types. If you don’t have a ground type Pokemon that is OK. You could easily take on this gym without a ground type pokemon in your party; or you could catch a Sandygast before taking on the electric gym as they are everywhere on the beach just outside of Levincia. Just make sure you are not bringing any Pokemon with you that are weak to Electric like Water of Flying types.. Once you have your Pokemon selected to take on the gym you are going to want to make sure they are at a high enough level. Iono has four pokemon at levels 23 and 24, so you should try to have a few super effective mons around the same level. Before my fight with Iono I was a bit overleveled and I was able to take out her whole team with my level 34 Clodsire.
Now that you have the correct Pokemon, you’re ready to take on the Gym Test. Levincia’s Gym Test is pretty simple. All you have to do is find Mr. Clavell hiding in three different images. For the first image he is sitting at this table here, in the second image he is standing in the Pokemon Center, and in the final image he is way down here in this boat. Once you finish finding him in all three pictures you’re able to challenge the gym leader.
Now the fight with Iono is pretty straight forward if you have one or two good leveled mons that are super effective against electric types. When I took her on my Clodsire was easily able to take out her Wattrel, Belibolt, Luxio, and Mismagius.
