How to catch RARE COCONUT STAGS in Animal Crossing New Horizons [Detailed Bug Guide]

In this video, I will show you when, how, and where to catch the COCONUT STAGS in Crossing New Horizons. Techniques, locations, and time recommended will be inside!

ALL of these stags can be found spawning on Coconut Trees between 5pm – 8am.

Northern Hemisphere: July and August.
Southern Hemisphere: January and February.

For the Northern Hemisphere, hunt from 7pm – 11pm in July.
For the Southern Hemisphere, hunt from 7pm – 11pm in January.

For other months, hunt between 7pm to 11pm.

I suggest finding the Stag islands that ONLY have tree and ground spawns. This makes filling your critterpedia far easier than doing it on your own island. However, if you do not have the NMT to spare, then you will have to do it on your own island. Destroy rocks, cut down regular trees, and pick flowers to limit contesting spawns.

Use the same technique as tarantulas and golden stags to catch these beetles. Do not approach unless the beetle is moving, signaling that it is relaxed. Slow Approach this way until you are well in range. Then release A to catch it with your net out.

I decided to put these 5 stags into the same video because it would be redundant if I made an individual video for all since the catch technique is the same.
