Today Jagex released update for Old School Runescape called Deadman Changes and Quality of Life. This update was posted by Mod Merchant, who is a new member in Old School Team.
One of the minor updates in this update was Added a ‘Slash’ fun option to other players when wielding the hunting knife from the Halloween 2016 event.

Hunting knife is not droppable or tradeable item, it can only be destroyed.
