This video demonstrates how to obtain the Genji Shield in Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core Reunion.

Before you attempt this, make sure you’ve previously added the Magic Pot to your DMW (use Jump, Fira, Gravity and Assault Twister on a Magic Point in Mission 10-2-3). You’ll also need to have the Gil Toss and Costly Punch Materia equipped when you start Mission 7-6-6, where you’ll find another Magic Pot.

Use Gil Toss, Costly Punch, 99,999 damage (just use Costly Punch again) and finish up by hitting the Magic Pot with Octaslash. Getting this limit to appear on the DMW is a bit of luck, but you can increase your odds by equipping Octaslash materia.
