Hello guys, This is a video that I made from old clips put together. I wanted to show you guys how I hatched my first batch of angelfish eggs on my own. It was very easy. All you need to do, is set up a 10 gallon or 20 gallon tank with some sponge filters and a heater. Once your angelfish pair have laid their eggs on a slate, take the slate then put it into the 10 gal or 20 gal tank. Get a air pump, with some airline tubing and attach a air stone to the airline tubing and place that underneath the slate with the eggs. Turn on your pump, and put it on a low setting if possible. Let the bubbles blow slightly against the eggs. This will keep the eggs clean for the most part. If possible try to do few small water changes in the processes of hatching the eggs. It will take about a day or 2 for them to hatch, then 5 to 6 days after for the fry to start free swimming. Methylene blue and Hydrogen peroxide is not needed but can give a better hatch rate if used correctly. Keep in mind, Methylene blue will stain your tank if used incorrectly. If you have any questions please leave a comment. Thank you guys for viewing my video.
