How to Join a Discord Server – Public and Private Servers

You can join a public or private discord server using the Discord app on the computer or on a mobile device. Discord has apps for iOS and Android.

To join a private server, you need the invite link to the server. Once you get that link, you can press the plus sign on the app and click join server. Paste your invite link and you are all set.

For public servers, search for the server you want to join using the explore server icon.

Once you find the server, click it to enter the server and you’ll see join server on top of the page.

Click that and you’ll join the server. You can now chat on that server.
