Locked into a Togekiss vs Groudon match-up with a Shield advantage, we forget mid-battle about our opponent having an Iron Head stored on their Dialga. As a result of this, we shield a Fire Punch which would not KO, leaving us without any shields and the opponent is then able to swap out and hit us with the Iron Head stored earlier.
Misplays like this happen all the time and while it is frustrating to lose a match this way, we should always look at them as a learning experience and something we can improve on for the next time we find ourselves in the situation.
