JOIN US LIVE: The DA has now officially broken its pre-2021 election promise to call a referendum which included a question on Cape Independence. By default, the 2024 provincial election has become ‘The Battle for Western Cape Independence’.
FORMAT: Cape Independence Advocacy Group (CIAG) spokesperson Phil Craig will address the media and members of the public. He will explain:
(1) why the CIAG will, for the first time ever, be advising Cape Independence supporters to vote against the DA;
(2) the behind the scenes story of how the CIAG arrived at this point, and;
(3) the political plan which will ensure that the Western Cape retains a DA government but will also gets the referendum on Cape Independence that 68% of Western Cape voters want.
There will be a Q&A session at the end.
