One thing I neglect to mention is how you adapt if you get bone heap in the starting chest or from Sawyer. If you find it in the starting chest, you can immediately face Kaycee and farm foils in that fight. If you find it from Sawyer, you simply deduct 4 from the necessary foil count. This applies to skeletons as well, deduct 1 from your foil count per skeleton.

SO! New optimizations have already been developed. You can still follow the route I show to hit a great pace, but this video shows an alternate route that is faster (even without the 1st chest bone heap). The number of foils you need to farm is also fewer and more complex than I described.
