Honestly, guys. This v1.9 update is overwhelming.
At first, I just wanted to up the cutscene work a bit more, until it got too big and I got overwhelmed by the amount of work needed.
Gotta admit that my constant urge to level-up kinda backfired this time. Followed by unproductivity for the whole January. AinaPeek

Fortunately, during that down, I fatefully encountered something that recharged my inspiration gauge to the MAX and beyond! And things are getting way better since. ChikaHype_2
It feels like I could focus on what really matters, what makes EC feels like EC.
I rewrote Chapter 3 ending that felt so uninspired before. Also, the ending (chapter 4) is now clearer than ever.

Then we started to change the development workflow since Feb. We’re learning to delegate and teach more stuff to the others. We’re documenting everything in the development process, so that when we expand the team, it really speeds up development by a lot. (it’s something that I’ve always neglected, for whatever stupid reasons.)

It’s a slow start indeed, but I believe it will pave the way for a smoother and faster development.
I’d say v1.9 could be our slowest update so far (predicted to come late April). But any updates to come should be way faster than ever.
